Corporate Training Solutions (CTS) is SAIT's training-solutions provider to organizations in Canada and abroad. CTS leverages all SAIT has to offer — training program development and delivery, expertise in curriculum development, educational institution capacity building, industry-experienced instructors, and a long history of providing industry-relevant, in-demand graduates to the global job market. Building employee bases for high-demand industry sectors, CTS upholds SAIT's tradition of hands-on, applied education and high-standard program offerings in its corporate training solutions.

 

We are currently recruiting an experienced Client Engagement Associate to act as the primary SAIT contact for corporate clients interested in purchasing quality training and learning opportunities, materials or other learning interventions from SAIT. Reporting to the Director, Corporate Development North America, you will be responsible for proactively creating the demand for SAIT's product based training solutions, building a pipeline of qualified prospects and managing a forecast to achieve a quota goal. Meeting sales targets, providing outstanding client service, and growing SAIT’s customer base are major objectives of this position!

 

Responsibilities: 

Customer contact is primarily transactional (by phone, email and face-to-face on campus). The successful candidate will:

  • Proactively create the demand for SAIT's product based training solutions, follow up on leads provided by other direct marketing activities, develop a pipeline of qualified prospects via outbound calling and other communications, closing sales and manage a forecast to successfully achieve established sales targets
  • Execute targeted customer campaigns
  • Work with Client Development Managers and delivery partners to identify sales opportunities (cross-selling or up-selling)
  • Participate in regular sales team meetings and campaign review
  • Communicate progress, opportunities and obstacles proactively and according to established protocols
  • Complete timely and accurate data entry of sales-related information by recording all telesales initiatives in Maximizer
  • Maintain associated reports and statistics in CRM database (includes number of calls, success ratio of won/lost/pending, number of account leads, lead source for both events and products) 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum post-secondary education in a related discipline (business administration, commerce, etc.)
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of proven inside sales or telesales experience
  • Class 5 Driver’s License is an asset
  • Demonstrated ability to generate sales leads through proactive phone and email communication
  • High degree of initiative, perseverance and commitment to consistently deliver results
  • Demonstrated ability to set priorities and to be responsive to the demands of a broad range of stakeholders in a fast-paced business environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop positive working relationships with internal and external customers
  • a high degree of ethics, professionalism and sound judgment are essential
  • Excellent communication skills and strong computer skills are essential
  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
