The School of Information and Communications Technologies at SAIT offers an exciting and diverse range of programs in information, media and engineering technologies. From broadcast and print journalism to web development and beyond, our career programs position graduates for success by providing learning experiences that are relevant, skills-oriented, and applied in the real world.


As an Instructor, your role is to provide academic leadership that ensures the Fast-Track Information Technology students achieve established learning outcomes to the maximum of their potential. Both the Network Technician certificate and Technology Infrastructure Analyst post-diploma certificate include courses on virtualization and data storage.  The programs use vendor curriculum from VMWare and EMC.


Note: This is a temporary, casual position for a short duration.


Instructors are required to teach these courses twice this winter:

  • Network Technician program: February 1 - 16, 2018 (12 days/72 hours)
  • Technology Infrastructure Analyst program: February 20 – March 9, 2018 (13 days/78 hours)

Daytime availability between 8 am - 4:30 pm Monday to Friday is required.




  • Instruct high level technology courses to mature learners.
  • Prepare additional study and lab materials for learners.
  • Evaluate student progress and achievement.
  • Provide ongoing support, guidance and advice to learner.



  • An information technology related diploma or degree, plus three to five years direct industry experience in virtualization and data storage.
  • Combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Applicants with industry certifications in VMWare would be preferred.
