The Athletic & Recreation Department has an immediate opening for energetic Camp Leaders for upcoming Children's Day Programs!

SAIT Recreation is looking for

Children's Day Camp Leaders! 


We will be housing children's day programs and in search of Camp Leaders to assist. You will be paid an hourly wage of $15.00.


The following are upcoming dates that we are looking for assistance:

• October 16, 2017
• November 17, 2017
• December 8, 2017
• January 26, 2018
• February 15-16, 2018
• March 23, 2018
• March 26-29, 2018
• April 20, 2018


Camp Leaders will be responsible for:

  • Set up room in the morning
  • Welcome children and parents upon arrival
  • Responsible for sign in and supervision of children between 8:00a.m.-8:30a.m.
  • Lead children, ages 6-12, through a variety of activities throughout the day including sports, crafts, bowling, and swimming
  • Supervise children at lunch time
  • Collaborate with other instructors in delivering lesson plans
  • Responsible for sign out and supervision of children between 4:30p.m.-5:00p.m.
  • Clean up room at the end of the day
  • Fill out incident forms when necessary
  • Communicate with parents regarding behaviour issues

Camp Leaders must meet the following qualifications:

  • Must meet the minimum age of 18
  • Must be able to provide a clean criminal record check (completed within the past 6 months)
  • Valid First Aid and CPR Certifications
  • Childcare experience is not required but is an asset

 Successful candidates must provide proof of certifications and background checks.
