Reporting to the Associate Director, Curriculum Excellence, the Instructional Designer is responsible for designing and developing high quality curricula. This position will work in collaboration with SAIT’s Content Experts, teaching faculty, technical and support staff in a wide variety of subject areas. The primary role of the Instructional Designer will be to apply instructional systems design (ISD) to course outlines, learning outcomes and objectives, learning activities, and assessments.
The Instructional Designer will work collaboratively with all schools/departments across campus in the design and development of web-based and face-to-face curricula, applying ISD and adult learning principles to curriculum projects. Other responsibilities include facilitating front-end analysis using various methodologies and assisting with other related curriculum projects as assigned.
Successful candidates must provide proof of qualifications. Only education obtained from an accredited institution will be recognized.
